Visa Support

To visit Japan, you must have a valid passport. A visa is required for citizens of countries that do not have visa-exempt agreements with Japan.
If you require a visa to enter Japan, please check with your local Japanese Embassy or Consulate to obtain the necessary documents.

Please give yourself plenty of time to get the necessary paperwork completed in time for your departure. Please refer to The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Home Page at http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/index.html for more details.

To apply for a visa to enter Japan, an Invitation Letter and Letter of Guarantee issued by the Congress Secretariat is required. In order to issue these 2 documents, the Secretariat requires certain information. Please download from below, the 2 forms "List of Visa Applicants" and "Schedule of Stay" and email it to the Congress Secretariat.

Also, the Invitation Letter and Letter of Guarantee will only be issued after registration and payment of registration fee is confirmed. If you have yet to register, please do so online via the Registration page.

Please enquire if you have any questions.
